As my career has advanced, I’ve became increasingly passionate about helping researchers succeed in growing the impact of their research programs. Science, technology, and society are ever evolving, but sometimes they don’t evolve together to maximize the impact of new knowledge. Communities and community members desperately want to work with researchers to improve wellbeing. I’ve successfully reworked my own research programs multiple times, co-founded and now direct a research center, kick-started a research institute, obtained funding to make these things realities, taught my classes, achieved tenure and promotion, all while answering questions important to community partners!
